They're all super high-quality, perfectly recorded, and have their own unique qualities that really make them stand out. What's best is that I haven't even heard any of these before! big grin

I believe all of the American weapon sounds are from Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. Not original by any means, but I guess they're better than the stock sounds.

Some are also from Day of Defeat Source, although the sounds in question are all good.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! pistol sounds, i love the hand guns, id like to hear new sounds for the tokarev, luger, colt 45, and webley. could someone make a mod were u can choose ur weapons from any army before you go to battle?

I just ran into a bug playing british today, it will play the new sound for only the person you play, the other weapons of ur allies just dont play a sound at all, can u plz fix this

The K98 in this pack is perfection. All rifles should be that loud and powerful sounding. The best part is listening it echo off nearby trees.

The only thing I would change is the sounds on the semi-auto rifles like the SVT or the G43. Those need a beefy sound too.

Oh and one more thing, could the some of the longer sounds (like the one for the Springfield) be changed so that when one shot is fired, it doesn't "restart" the sound when another is fired?

The weapon sounds are great, but the problem I have is that they only work for your character. All the other soldiers weapons aren't making any sounds at all.

Is this something to do with the new sounds being in stereo, while the enemy soldiers and your team mates weapons only work in mono?

Is it possible to correct this?

This sound mod is very good. The rifle sounds are perfect, especially the Kar98k. The only things I would suggest changing is the exactly what fatbob said, all ai players have no firing sounds at all, which takes away from the intensity of the game. There is also some small sound glitches, like, if a bullet hits a wall near you, you hear the initial sound plus the same sound 4 or 5 times again right afterwords. Plus, you can also hear grenades bounce like 7 or 8 times after they are thrown. confused

All in all, this sound mod is still great, even with its shortcomings.

8/10 the way it is, great rifle sounds
10/10 if it is eventually fixed to make the ai sounds work

i ran into same problem. the enemies can't really hear you shooting at them. is this a conflict with another file. i run the admiral mod. maybe that's it. not sure. i love the sounds. wish there was some pistol sounds to match. Beer! Beer!

i not really a fan of this mod. the m1 garrand sounds better but like the thompson and bren now sound kinda whimpy. sound like they're "popping" its ok though

I like the Thompson, and the other Pacific Assault sounds as well, and the above poster is right, just change all of your sounds to mono you can do this by opening them up in "Sound Recorder" the Windows application and saving them as high bit, high quality, mono WAVs

Yeah man, the only sounds that accept "Stereo" format is the Ambient sounds, and I think the music aswell. All ingame sounds are "Mono" otherwise 3rd person won't be heard. Well I think it's best for someone to find a way to make it accept "Stereo" sense Stereo format is alot louder.

wtf is that supposed to be?-when my comrdes shoot you cant here theyre weapons why?
5/10 this sucks well not just your comrades but the enemies too when they fire you dont here the sound of the firing

These sounds are in stereo. Call of Duty 2 will only play stereo weapon sounds for the player-character.
