CODUO Purity Fixer - File Description

Description:
Here's a nice, small tool that, when run, will make anyone's CoD (and UO, if applicable) pure by placing all non-stock files in the directory 'Call of Dutycustomfilesmain' and '~customfilesuo'. Works with versions of CoD up to 1.5, UO up to 1.51, and the UO Official Map Pack.

CODUO Purity Fixer - Readme  
Readme File:
Are you tired of the AMMO or WEAPONS mismatch errors,
that occur when you try to join a clean server ?

Then you should try the United Offensive fixer.
UOFIX will move all *.pk3 files from your main and uo dir,
to a dir called custom files.
When the *.pk3 files are removed, it will move the original
*.pk3 files back to your Main and UO dirs,
so it looks exactly as when you installed the game the first time.
UOFIX will also move your custom maps,
but you can copy them back to the MAIN or UO dir manually.

UOFIX is only tested at CODUO Version 1.51, running on WINXP.
I don't know if it will work at other Versions
of the game or other Operating System

Installation instructions:

Extract the coduofix.bat to your COD Base dir.
(the one that contains CODUOSP.EXE and CODUOMP.EXE)

This util moves all non standard PK3 Files
to a folder called customfiles, located
in your COD directory.

Files from your MAIN folder will be moved to
customfiles\main\

Files from your UO folder will be moved to
customfiles\uo\

there is nothing but pure servers, i have never seen an unpure server before anyway.

Posts: 9 		I made this util for the newbees at my own server, since they often had the AMMO or WEAPONS mismatch errors.
Making a script was far easier than guiding them througt the prosess every time.
So this utility is mostly for the clients, even thougt it would cleanup an installation you would like to use for a server as well.

Please note, it wont move the folders containing the mods, only the *pk3 files in the Main and UO folder. (since I dont know all the names for the MOD folders)

If you have a list with the MOD folder and PK3 names, feel free to e-mail them to me.

Posts: 9 		Use the new version 2.0 instead of this one, Version 2.0 works on United Offensive as well as CoD.
Version 2 is safer, better and easy to use, since installer and automatic gamedir detection is included smile
