Description:
Here we have a 4 map story linked single player mod!!

You get extracted in the first of four big sp-maps as a American soldier somewhere outside a big German city with 3 other soldiers at the end of the second worldwar in the year 1945. Your mission is to fight your way trough the city to a little hotel. Somewhere in the basement of that hotel a English spy is held in a jailcell. He was captured on a secret mission as a high German general to collect classified information.The SS will interracate in the next few days and it is very important that you find him before the SS can get information out of him. Therefor you have to free him and lead him out of the city, you have to succeed, whatever it takes.

Posts: 1 | I just can't seem to get this mod to run. Ive got the 1.5 patch installed and have the pk file in the main folder. I've brought down the mp console and typed map leoncod2 but get an error. Can you bring down the sp console? I can't find a way. Does someone have a solution or a clue as to what im doing wrong? |

Posts: 80 | first i want to thank you all for the nice compliments, it does take a lot of time to make these mappacks and it's good to hear that you all like it so mutch. also do i have to say that not all the credits are mine because i did the layout and mapping. BALTIC.FOREVER did as usualy a great job by scripting the whole mappack!!
HOW TO START THIS MAPPACK;
extract leoncod2.zip in to cod/main.
look in cod/main for leoncod2.pk3, now extract leoncod2.pk3 with winzip in to cod/main. start the game, and open console by pressing shift + ~, (when this is not possible than look for opening console under OPTIONS.
typ in console;
map leoncod2
enter.

I have enabled Console
So i should press shift + ~ when im in the Main cod single player screen right?.
However my Keyboard does two ~~, the only way for me to get a single ~
is to delete the second one
that dont work here.

Posts: | This is really good... too bad I suck so bad that I die every 4 seconds. I think it's taking me longer to do this mission than it did to finish CoD from the first time I played.
My only wish is for grenades so I could blow up whole groups of those pesky Germans.

I've destroyed the tank, and got the panzerfaust, and I saw a message about destroying a door on a hotel. Which building is the hotel?? I've killed all the germans on the level, but I can't seem to figure out where to go next. |

Posts: 80 | first i want to thank you all for downloading this spmapping of mine and baltic.forever. when you get that message of finding that ladder, than go back the way you came, trough that tunnel. than you will see a explosion near that truck in front of you what makes that the truck goes a bit to the side and you can walk between the truck and the wall. there you will find the ladder in the corner.

They were a bit rambo-like in places because it was mostly just you going up against increasingly large groups of mp40-wielding germans, which proved to be a bit unrealistic. But even so this gets 5 stars * * * * * from me just for BEING an sp map. There aren't anywhere near enough. |

Posts: 9 | Awesome. One of the best add-ons for COD I have downloaded. Four maps, each one a challenge. I set my skill level at greenhorn and got killed so many times, I usually gave up at 1:00 AM. Then when I found the spots where I encountered all the bad guys, I was able to do the four maps at the regular level. I am going to do game at next higher skill level. It sure is exciting. Only critique I have is Capt. Fallis. I would like to shoot the dummy. He keeps getting in the way. At first he is at corner of entrance to archway. I can't get a shot away without moving out to his left. So who gets shot, not him. I have to move back a bit behind red car so that I can finish off all the enemy. The secret to rest of mission, is to get behind green car, then move out alongside it and slightly forward. This teases the enemy. As soon as one of the white glad bad guys show at the oil barrels on left front of archway, I move backwards as fast as I can and get back behind green car. Guess again who is in my way? Takes me several try's to get the pain in the butt out of the way. Then I can move back alongside of truck and, up ladder to get around to front of building. Then I can kill all the baddies with sniper rifle. Then I go down to flashing yellow box with panzergrafs. Need one of these to blast truck that will show up very shortly. Thanks again for hours of entertainment. Make more maps please. Leoncod2 is a 10 out of 10. |

Posts: 80 | first of all i want to thank you all again for downloading and playing this sp map pack for cod1 of mine. you're right Bassethound, about the officer being in the way some times. it was very hard to make that part of the map, because cod uses a lot of custom scripting to get things done, instead of other editors like the doom editor and hl2 editor. the point with the officer was that he had to stand on that corner so he could join the firefight around the corner. still, he had to stand exactly there so he wouldn't be killed to soon, because as you now know, as soon as he gets killed the game stops and you have to reload the part where you saved the game. still, this was the best point he could be placed, without getting killed to soon or without being active in the shootout at all.
i did make these 4 spmaps for cod1 and before these i made 2 sp-maps, that you can download under the sp maps download section of this site, called leoncod1. the last year i have been working on Half Life2 sp-map packs. the first one was released a year ago, and has 4 large maps. and after nearly 11 months of hard work i'm now nearly finisht with 9 new large outdoor sp-maps for Hl2. these will be released somewhere at the end of this month, (jan.2006). you can find leonHL2-1 allready under the downloadsection of HL2filefront.com sp-map downloadsection. and the 9 new ones will also be released there in a week or 2.
before cod i have mapped for a lot of toher games like doom3, sof2, UT2003, and much older games like shadow warrior, duke nukem 3d, napalm and others.

Posts: 2 | G'day. I've killed every living thing for miles around, been up the ladder and around to the gates and back. I can't for the life of me get into the area with the tank and the panzerfaust. Am I missing something bleedingly obvious here? Quicksave is your best friend in this game. I'm having a ball with playing this map. Great work. |

Posts: 2 | Disregard previous message. I've finally rescued that moron in the cells. If the game wasn't dependant on him staying alive, I would have gladly put a bullet in him just to get him out of my way. It's not like he's a real good shot or anything useful. I'll give it a week and go back in for another shot at it. Keep up the great work on these sp games.

Posts: 80 | the last few months i get more and more mails from people who have download this sp-mappack of mine for COD and they can't play it because they don't have any ammo in all there weapons.
this problems is happening because you properly have a whole lot of custom mods installed in your cod folder. please take them out, or most of them (place them for the time being in another folder. ) this will solve this problem, hope you have fun with this sp-mappack for cod. should you be interested in any of my other sp-mappacks for other games than please just email me.
