Description:
Leon Brinkmann, author of six single-player maps for Call of Duty, has given a go at producing a CoD2 single-player map as well. He's done a pretty darn good job, too, especially since there aren't many other CoD2SP maps to choose from.  The quality of this one is just great by any standards of CoD2 mapping, and the gameplay is not bad, which is naturally very important for single-player. The map takes place in some winter complex where you're in charge of taking on what seems to be entire platoons of the enemy, but don't fret; there are plenty of weapons to choose from. there is no real story, i build this cod2 sp-map mainly because nobody else made cod2 sp-maps. also because i made 6
sp-maps for Cod(1), and i thought it would be funny to have at least made one new one with cod2.

Very nice, I enjoyed it heaps, I tried to attack the German officer at the start but it didn't turn out too well 
a COD2 SP Map ??!?!??! I LOVE YOU 
i made this map indeed because no one else makes cod2 sp-maps. that i didn't add checkpoints is because i am a (sp-) mapper and not a scripter. that's also why i won't make more cod2 maps, because of all the scripting that it needs, and i simply can't script, just map.
still, making this one map was fun, made me think about my cod1/mohaa mapping days.

Oh my 'GOD' I can't believe it a SP map? I all most fell out of my chair when I read it, about time someone made a SP map for COD2. I almost put COD2 in the bin just like "Activision" did.

On behalf of us SP players, I'd like to sincerely thank you for this great mod! It's a shame, but more often, than not, SP's are neglected in the map mods of some great FPS games. Again, thank you!
yeah ive always been a fan of leon. costline to atmosphere was phenomenal
The only thing I don't like about this game is that it ends to soon. It is worth the download and it only took a few seconds to download it. I like how those germans are in such good spots, great target practice. 9/10. (9 because it ends to fast)
Thanks for a fun SP map! It played perfect for me, ( I'm using the ciais realism mod, which made it harder for a lack of ammo) Your scripting skills seem fine to me, please keep making SP maps!!!!! Your COD1 maps are great, too!

Just finished playing your great map when I had a thought. Remember that awsome (but tear-your-hair-out frusterating  ) level from CoD: Finest Hour
where you fight your way across the Remagen Bridge and through it's towers? It was a great level (tons of MG fire coming from the tunnel on the German side as you tried to fight your way across). It would be awsome if someone made a SP version for CoD2. Yeah, it would probably take forever to finish but, in the end it would KICK A$$!

Ahhhh youre like one of those kick **** people who realise single player must not be forgot, just because of those consoles stirring a multiplayer craze doesnt mean we should forget our roots, awesome map, awesome history of maps, awesome map maker! one of the best out there!
thank you all for the nice compliments, it's a shame that i will not make more cod2 sp-maps, that i agree, but i also explained why in comment # 9. that is the main reson, but also won't i make more because i am working on new sp-map(packs).

Danke! Thank you for your level of dedication to make a worthwhile single player COD2 map for many weary soldats waiting for, quite simply, change. That said, here's to hoping for an explosive rise in more SP mapping. C'mon fellas get to werk, your creative reputations will follow you for many years thereafter.
