Phantom War (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
Our main goal was to allow the player to select a Secondary weapon from a List of submachines and small rifles. We added three more buttons to our Weapon menu that allow you to do that.

02) This mod has also the feature of allowing you to select your uniform from a list of 10 configurations for nationality that will not change untill you select another one, even in winter maps it will show the one that you selected.

03) The damage of the weapons was adjusted and the fire rate of most of them was changed too, making a more equilibrated game. This doesn't mean that it's easier, in fact we think it's harder. For example a shot in the head will kill you always even with a pistol.

04) We have added new skins from our own and from some other mods that will work in single and multiplayer game.

05) The vehicles speed movement has been increased and their projectile speed too. the rotation speed of the turret was increased too and some new skins where added.

06) We added some new weapons:
Scoped M1 Garand (alt Fire of the original).
Scoped Gewehr 43 (alt Fire of the original).
Scoped SVT 40 (alt Fire of the original).
PPS 43 (from Sec.weapons menu).
Sten MK5 (from Sec.weapons menu).
PIAT (from Prim.weapons menu).
Thompson 1928 (from Sec.weapons menu).
GreaseGun (from Sec.weapons menu).
UD 42 (from Sec.weapons menu).
PTRS-41 ATW (from Prim.weapons menu).
Mauser C96 (from Sec.weapons menu).
Walter P38 (from rank 3 or higher).
MP 18 (from Sec.weapons menu).
MG 42 (from Prim.weapons menu).
Time Bomb 20 Sec (alt Fire of the Satchel).
Toxic Gas Grenade (alt Fire of the SmokeGrenade).
Molotov Cocktail (alt Fire of the SmokeGrenade).


07) The artillery support is a selectable Secondary Weapon but only is available for ranks four and five. It also has several artillery fire modes selectable as alternative fire.

08) No weapon is restricted and can't be restricted.

09) The new grenades (Toxic an Molotov) and artillery support are still under test, they are NO FINAL.

10) Total integration with MERCILESS, and some adjustments in blood fluid and decapitations.

This mod is made up of several of our favorite mods, plus a lot of which we made ourselves. We have tested each of the mods herein and have discovered only slight errors, but nothing of concern. We hope that this mod pack works for as well as it has
worked for us.

Features:

IMPORTANT

This mod was intended to work with CoD:UO version 1.41 and has not been tested with other mods that change the menu or the programming. But it should work.

We'll appreciate any bug report or suggestion or simple commentary you send us.

when we started our mod we did'nt new anything about mods, or copyrigths or anything of that and we made it for our self only, we only published it because a lot of player told us to do it, that it was great, we dont really now from where we take some things, thats why we did'nt thanks everyone of their makers, the contacts are at the end of the readme if you need then. Thanks again for everything, and test the mod before judging. Sorry my english

Can you tell me how you scripted the p38 as the German pistol only after rank 3?
I'm interested in this script because I'd like to add secondary rank-based pistols to my mod...

inside maps,mp,gametypes is a file called _teams, inside is a function called givepistol() or something like that, you shoud use this
