Description:

Here's a handy script that allows you to quickly and easily disconnect from a server or from the game entirely. Additionally, the script is written to prevent accidental disconnections or quits because a player must hit the key twice for it to have any effect. Take a look at the readme for detail. 	Readme File: Installation: Just unzip the config (quit_discon_kill.cfg) into C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Main Then during the game, bring down the console and type /exec quit_discon_kill.cfg -----------------[quit_discon_kill.cfg]------------------ Do you hate having to go through several menus just to leave a game or quit entirely? Well, that's what this script is for. F9 is the quit button, f10 is for disconnecting from the server without quitting, and f12 is to kill yourself. Each of these buttons must be hit twice to have any effect. This is to prevent accidental button presses. f11 takes a screenshot. Changing the keys in this script is tricky, but not possible. They appear multiple times, so you must use a find and replace function to change every instance of that bind. For example, if you wanted f5 to quit instead of f9, you would: Find: bind f9 Replace with : bind f5 Darwin Award Winner rct86@comcast.net

actually i hate having to type "/exec blahblahblah" garbage like that ruins my day and is annoying to type in

Then add that exec line to your shortcut, so it does it automatically when you start up the game. Right click on your shortcut, click properties, and find the target line. Go to the end, outside of the quotes, put a space, then type
+exec whatever.cfg
Then apply changes.

This is slower than normal quitin!!!!!!!!! U have to press Esc, Main menu,Disconect.....and thats all and here u have to type some bull*****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

instead if this open the console when u start the game and type bind "whatever key u want it" "disconnect" (w/ the quotes)

once the script is set to run every time you start the game then all you need to do to quit is press F9 twice in a row to quit.

there are some spelling mistakes in the readme so it could be confusing i guess.

ie. "Changing the keys in this script is tricky, but not possible."

I think he meant ----------------------------->>> "...not impossible. "

and it doesnt say how to permenently set the binds.
unless running the script sets the binds for you permenently, I dont know

all u need to do is open the console nd type quit. it will make u disconnect and quit the game.
