Backlot is a single-player Call of Duty 4 map oriented around a revolutionary force soldier pitted in the middle of an on-coming American invasion. The player must hold the city while ensuring the American forces don't seize important information or land.

Edited quite a few mp_backlot prefabs, can't recall specifically which ones so included the whole bunch. To experience more intense gameplay, try the level out on Hardened. You will need to go to console before launching the level and type /difficultyHard ====================================================================== Installation Instructions: Place the playable file in the corresponding folder, the zone folder language may differ per regional game. @alvaroM: Babycop already released a map called Homefront: Cells (it's even hosted here at CoDFiles), actually quite fun and really nailed the whole SAS style gameplay. He's working on a series of Homefront maps if I'm not mistaken.

DUDE.THIS.KICKS.ASS.
This is the first SP map ever to have a storyline connecting to the original COD4 storyline, and its role switch is merely friggin awesome. Hey you should do like the Krauts Perspective for COD4 wink

This was one hell of a ride! The mission was easy as hell tho even on hardened difficulty, it seems like the marines are way more easy to kill then the normal enemies were in the original single player campaign. Beside this, i had a lot of fun playing it. The scripting job is amazing, well done bro! it's a must to try it out. BTW the op for experience is... u'll see

Put the content of the folders "Playable Files" and "Source Files" in your Call Of Duty 4 directory. That's it! wink

did as Werwolf1944 did but the game crashes as soon as I load the map.
I have the german version of cod4, could that be the problem?
I'm desperate to try this map, the single player part is so short... confused

Found out the problem: For any people with german version, put the english zone file in the german folder.

Every CoD4 map install instructions I've read so far says nothing about how to install the Source Files. I can't even find it by Googling. Do I just put the whole Source Files folder in the Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare directory or place them separately somewhere???

Probably a good map but terrible install instructions.

Just to let everyone know, the SOURCE files are there for OTHER MODDERS TO MAKE USE OF. If you want to install the mod, DO NOT INSTALL THE SOURCE FILES. These files are made public by the modder for other people to use/mod etc. You're not supposed to install those files, and the instructions above are perfect. Blimey, shouldn't you guys know this already?

Just follow the instructions carefully (above comments) and then install. It should work. If not then you just screwed up, don't blame the mod. I've been playing this for a while now and I installed it perfectly. If I can do it, so can you.

10/10, fantastic Map. We sure as hell could do with some more CoD4 SP Maps :3

I have version of Call of Duty 4 1.0 I have installed playable files exactly as it goes to folder where my game is installed and when i want to load map it always crashes to desktop. Can someone please tell me what is the problem.

I have patch 1.6 and cant run it, but 1.5 sucks plz make it to 1.6 confused
