Here's a professional-level CoD2 single-player map by Ace008 that excels in all areas. Contents of this Package :

A single player map with custom textures and audio based on a small town and countryside of Normandy, France during Operation Overlord.
This game is all about player option and attempts to move away from the regular linear game play where the player is forced down one certain path.
Throughout this mission you will have to decide which path to take to best accomplish your mission and stay alive.

Installation Instructions:

Unzip the Lamaire.zip file and place the Lamaire.iwd file in the main Call of Duty 2 folder

located at:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main

Make sure you do not have +set developer 1 or +set g_connectpaths 1 in your properties target when you start the game.

Once you are at the main Call of Duty 2 screen where it says stuff such as mission select, options, resume mission, etc press the ~ key located one spot to the left of the
number 1 on the keyboard to bring down the console and type /map lamaire. If for some reason when you press the ~ key and nothing happens go into options and look
for something that says game options. Inside that their is a button that says enable console, make sure that says yes.

Construction Time : About 4 to 5 months if I remember correctly...everything is a blur now in my mind. Also before you ask
the answer is yes, I have no life.

Custom Content : Custom Textures and Audio

Known Bugs : I couldn't preform a full compile because my PC is total garbage so the lighting does not look as great as it should, hopefully it won't bother
those of you who download as much as it bothers me. I am not really sure how this will effect those of you who play with DX9, if it looks bad I
apologize, but remember I at least tried. Personally I would recommend playing with DX7 anyway since there will be less lag.
