The SWAT mod released its second patch recently to keep up with their weekly patch cycle. Take a look at the following information:

Following the weekly patch cycle, we have beta 0.4 version ready, below are the details about this release.

BETA 0.4 Details: USER_README04.doc

The patch will be uploaded in a few hours from now, when downloading the patch, please read the installation instruction for the patch carefully to avoid losing your configs.

Missing sound files
==========================
Problem: Missing over 100 sound files when connecting to server.

Cause: Resetting the key controls to default after installation of SWAT mod, this resets the voice command keys as well. SWAT does not use the voice commands therefore the sound files are missing.

Solution: This can be avoided by instead of resetting your configuration to default, download the default config_mp.cfg from the http://www.swat-mod.com website.

Not bad, i feel that the game hands a little bit better than before, and the fact that i found a server with close to no lag, and many people. Not bad, 8/10

I didn't give you permission to use my map: Alcatraz. You guys altered my loading picture and put someone else's name next to a incorrect version of my name. A month and half of my time went into Alcatraz. I made that map alone. Because you altred the gametypes in the .arena file, that counts as partial credit? I DO NOT want my map as a part of your SWAT mod. You've disrespected me as a mapper for incorrectly putting my name, as well as putting someone else's name next to mine in the loading screen. YOU HAD NO part in the creation of Alcatraz. I've also noticed you guys are doing this to other people's maps as well. This is truly messed up, and needs to be fixed immediately.

Thats a No-no, now I wont download the mod because it seems very unprofessional.

***** that BS. I make maps. i'am not letting some SWAT mod for COD 1 take over my maps. So i'am sry, i'am saying no to this mod and deleting it now. I'am also posting a forum about this. U guys are a piece of *****. Hint: Dont show ur face on codfiles.com, ur to big of mod makers that u cant EVEN BUILD UR OWN MAPS FOR UR OWN MOD!!! sad..

i hate this mod its so confusing it takes forever to like get workin i read the readme and it tells me to edit all these files and get new cfgs and all this crap why cant they jus make it right the first time?

SWAT dev team took no part in converting anyones map to work with swat, If it isnt in our patches or installation files thats released officially by us, then we did not make it. We took no part in converting anyones map, if we do we will contact the mapper and have their permission. I do not know who converted your map, but it wasnt us and please refrain yourself next time before you jump into conclusions.

Ever consider the possibility that someone put the map on their server as a third party map?It happens!As for our work,it is all ours.We dont need to use third party maps.In fact alkatraz was never even considered.I cant believe how the 3 of you are so easily swayed by 1 post that has no truth to it whatsoever.What id suggest next time if you think your getting robbed..

There is no alkatraz map in any part of or mod (patches or releases) and there never will be.In fact ive never seen the map on a swat server.So calm down there SgtDanielRONeil and next time try to get your facts right before you go running off at the gums.WHat id suggest to you is to find out who submitted it to this site and complain to them.Just because you see it on this site doesnt mean we had anything to do with it.Look at swat_corpsiege and swat_algiers,They are also 3rd party maps that had nothing to do with the swat team.

Wow is all I have to say. I was sent this link for a SWAT mod of COD and clicked this link wondering what someone could have said...

Even if someone used your map you should be flattered. and all modders get premission before using someone elses content because premission is the way of not getting sued.
