Rock Paper Shotun have reported that a new Call of Duty may be announced by Activision called 'Call of Duty: Online'. This is just a rumour, however an update on their newspost states:

Our informants tell us it’s some kind of stats tool. BORING!

We won't know for sure, but if this game was in the making, then I guess it would have been CoD4/MW2/Black Ops all put into one and just for online? And of course, if they were going to make this then I bet it would be pay to play, which I'd have to apologise to Splint Cell for my response to him in this poll (just thought I'd give you a shout out Splint stick out tongue ). Or as the article states on Rock Paper Shotgun it could be a free to play game to contest EA's Battlefield free to play game, but who can really see Activision doing that?

Anyway, as the rumours come thick and fast, and with many keen players not heard of an 'update' (I use the word 'update' instead of 'new game' especially for the last couple of games in the CoD series) on a new title, CoDFiles will keep you updated.

Posts: 1090 		Hopefully that won't be the case, the sites are at the moment in the hands of the Break IT department and we can only hope that they fix all these site bugs. But I know that it's frustrating for you, just as it is for me.

Posts: 861 		I'm gonna switch from CoD series to BF series,was a great fan of 1942 and Vietnam,still have Vietnam and play it when bored.

CoD5 Zombies is still going to be played because it has mod tools,and maps are awesome.
