  Chaos! Activision has finally lost control of Infinity Ward - Official News

That's right folks Jason West and Vince Zampella the two high level staff that were fired by Activision have started their own gaming studios funded by EA Games, Respawn Entertainment. They are anticipating a big summer release, so watch this space!

It's complete chaos as more staff have left and more are left to leave Infinity Ward as Activision has completely lost control in sorting out its original problem with West and Zampella in a more diplomatic way, it has arguably led the way to the inevitable failure of the next game in the series, which rumour has it was set in Vietnam.

In the meantime they have filed a $36 million lawsuit against Activision for the rights to the Modern Warfare franchise which will include any new games. Just to add a bit of fuel to the fire, the mass exodus continues among Infinity Ward staff with at least 13 staff have also 'left the building' and resigned.

The staff were said to be mostly leaders in their respective departments, but Activision aren't too worried as they would arguably just hire new staff, argued by Michael Pachter, a Wedbush Morgan analyst.

It's all kicking off for Infinity Ward at the moment, the studios are in decline and one beleives that it will be extremely difficult to recover from such a big staff loss in the matter just a few months. It is reported that up to another 20 members of staff from Infinity Ward may be leaving in the next month, following West and Zampella or moving to different companies altogether.

We'll be monitoring the situation very closely and one can only hope for the future of the Modern Warfare series and Call of Duty series altogether that this lawsuit gets settled quickly and appropriately.

Posts: 468 		If Activision will shut down Infinity Ward due to loss of control, Infinity Ward had no choice but to spread on any studios or they'll make another studio and return to EA's rule.


One more thing for who don't know about Infinity Ward
some Infinity Ward's employees like it's founders are former 2015's employees and it's owner is EA, about 20-22 employees resigned and make a company named Infinity Ward.

Posts: 993 		Looks like Treyarch are doing CoD 7 and may include dedicated server files. If this is true then IW have had there day as WaW was a bigger game than it had first looked to be and many let down fans will come back for properly structured CoD title in Vietnam and various other locations.

Posts: 201 		oh yea im looking foward to use my m16 on vietcongs. Actually im bored of those jungle games where you kill thousands of banzai yellow guys. Nothing intresting if theres nothing else but forest. treyarch makes games which looks like five years old.
