Posts: 876 		Skkim, apparantly you haven't played United Offensive created by GreyMatter (actually Treyarch; they merged).

And on top of that, CoD3 was consoles only and on top of that done in 8 months!

Posts: 408 		The screens are looking good,however,I`m getting a little worried.
Its starting to look a bit more like pacific assault already...airplaine mission...will there also be a pearl harbor level?Is this a suttle way of showing EA they can do better in any setting with about the same storyline?If so,I really hope they`ve done a better job.
I was browsing the nvidia website and I found the(xp/vista)driver for running games in 4d,you know,with 3d glasses on.everything really seems to come at you from out of the screen.Anybody ever try that?It supports everything up to cod4,so probably also cod5,this might be really cool in the jungle.Soon,I`m gonna give it a try.
I`m also planning on running a dedicated server for at least cod4,in august/september.If al goes well,I`m gonna have a unlimited 100mb down/up connection around that time and a good,stable server.Right now,I`m testing with the pezbot mod installed and all seems to go well.
I`m planning a hardcore server for 40-50 players,server hardware is probably ok enough and the 100mb connection will do for sure.
So maybe than also for cod5,maybe but my preference will go out to cod4,for starters.

I agree, Treyarch screwed up CoD3, but remember, that game took 8 months to make, CoD: WaW has been in the making for 2 years.

Posts: 679 		#3 & #4, Gray Matter made CoDUO and CoDFH. Gray Matter did not merge with Treyarch.

Posts: 175 		But treyarch was working with Grey Matter, so hopefully they learned how to make quality games and will put those lessons to good use once they have a sufficient development time.

Posts: 80 		Ehhhm #5 ITS FREAKIN WWII, it is something that allready happend and u cant change history so if u make a game about it is allways that WWII games look like eachother and now on-top: does the red-dot sight on screenie #3 rlly exists in WWII

Posts: 87 		For those people who say that they released the game too soon, they didn't. World at War has been in production for two years now. You people need to read up.
