	This News Item has been viewed 8,294 times I haven't got much info on this one except for the fact that they have a couple videos of their first SP map, Omaha Beach. Click here to have yourself a look! Quote: these are just some short clips of the omaha beach map which will be part of the saving private ryan mod that me and some of the guys on modsonline.com have started. It will have a nice amount of single player maps based around the film and the movements of the second rangers in France, Holland and other location This mod is just getting started and it would be great to make the mod as big as possible. so far we have ten members but this will grow with time. The mod will also feature mp versions of the single player maps and independant mp maps. Anyone out there who has experience in sp/mp mapping, modeling, scripting, skining, advertising and has proof of this in the form of previous work it would be great to have you on board. Snow was a test for me, a way to practice my sp skills so its only of a standard level. I dunno bout you guys but this looks a bit too familiar...I dunno if anyone remembers this old server that only played a mock up of the MoH Omaha beach map on S&D...But anywho it looks great a sound change would make it even better...like possibly using the BoB v3(Randy) sound mod or the Saving private Ryan(dunno who made that) sound mod I was very impressed with both of them...also hopfully some new wepons skinds! I think i already saw some new player skins!!!!! Rock

Hmm.....I liked the videos, but you got to make it so the men aren't all cut down in the water! You got to remember, that the movie had lots of men running up the beach, and lots of men taking cover.

'member kiddos there were at least 6 MG42's and I dunnow how many emplaced MG34's there were on dog one beach sector so 6 or more boats gotta get mowed down

I don't care much for Omaha (been there done that), I just want you guys to get the last battle scene done right. Also who are you going to play as? You'd have to be someone who lives in the end, and was along for the whole ride; so that'd be Ryben, but you'd get pretty bored in the sniper scene. And Randy, what happened to the BoB mod? I can't wait to start making more BoB previews!
