Posts: | i hate it that the comments are blocked. i agree that lately the comments where more like a list of insults but the last potd got good comments and everybody was behaving. So i think that if a pic is really good, you get good comments if it sucks you are gonna hear about it.

Seeing as the guest account still logs on with host name and ip address would it not be a good idea to IP Ban their access to this site ?
That way different username or Not they wouldnt even be able to access this site let alone moan about the POTDs ??
Its something we have inforced on our sites to do with people not obeying the rules and being idiots towards other genuine members.
I say ban em. and/or dont let the guest accounts comment. |

For example: nr28, nr30,nr31. These ones are coinsedently from Gun_for_hire_2. but that wasn't my point. Just decide for each person based on his comment wether to ban him or not.

The ip ban will only effect people who the admins decide. for example if someone posts an out of order comment their IP can be banned. it doesnt mean every guest account gets banned.
Everyone has an IP address its sort of like your post code and the admins can pretty much say no matter what username you use your banned. It will stop the regular moaners on POTD from posting abuse and accessing the site.
So No you wont get banned unless you post abuse on the site. do and they could lock you out completly. your only access would be another PC or ISP. and no Ipconfig /release /renew wont help |
