	This News Item has been viewed 1,808 times Wait a second... the last review was on the 4th, and today is the 18th; did I miss a weekly poll? As usual, the results were linear. Most people wanted Canada added and only a few wanted no countries added - not what I expected at all! I expected everyone to agree that Italy was the most needed and most feasible, since we skipped out on them in CODUO, and since a huge part of COD2, of course, is in North Africa and Italy. Guess I can't speak for everyone though, eh? Hummmmm ermm .....
id rather see the italians in the game ... least they have there own *****nal of weaponary .. every 1 else here i guess will be using the german and british and american guns ...

I would like to see some pacific island or something in there.

BTW, has anyone noticed that this is called Call of Duty 2? I expected it to take place in another war since like it is going to be a sequel, not in world war 2. I think if they were going to make a call of duty with better graphics and other events and stories, they should have named it call of duty: whatever you know, not 2.

Canadians used basically British weaponry anyway, at least with Italians there will be more of a variety.

would be cool if u actually could chose to play as allied or nazi in SP game and as it will be in italy there should be monte casino and polish troops

I think Call of Duty will...
1.) stay a World War II game.
2.) stay with the way Call of Duty I was: 1 soldier in the Russian army. One soldier in the British army. One soldier in the American army. You play the one fighting alongside with others. Remember the message: "In war, no one fights alone."
3.) stay in one overall location per nation. So no mini-campaigns or a switch to another character.

And you know what? I like this. It's original. If the sequel would contain every nation that fought someday it would be boring. Ruin the originality and other games would suddenly be lame because they are like CoD.

But this is another topic. A topic where I actually stand alone with my opinion. Like always. Roll Eyes (sarcastic)

well id say they shoudl add Italy and Japan. I realise that cod doesnt take place in Pacific theater, just bear with me im dreaming for a sec...ok. Heres what i think IW should do. Since in real life, the alliences where the Rome-Berlin-Tokyo (notice the smaller nations arent included *actual fact*)allience on the axis side, they should include Italy, Germany and Japan, and they alrdy included the main allied nations (allience -the London-Washington-Moscow allience) I tink Stalingrad was the capital of russia back then, but thats what the allience was formerly called before Mussolini declared them the allies, and his side the axis. So, to follow the former names of the alliences, they should include the main nation from each side.

Spitfire has a good point. But I don't think they're going to put any Axis powers as being playable in the game. I think the very most they are going to do is to put the Italians or maybe Japanese as an enemy, not a single-player campaign. It would stir up way too much controversy because, as we know, the Axis powers committed some pretty atrocious acts.

yeah ok guys you have good points but still it would be really cool to play as some one else and they could also make things like giving orders to other computer players in SP game would be cool like in Brothers in arms and the other thing i like are the graphics they are very good

Oh and er.. #7 In cod 1 they said no one fights alone , but in the game you actually fight alon because your teammates dont do anything.
